About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Head of AI programs to lead and drive the development and execution of our AI initiatives across the organization.  This role will be responsible for shaping the company’s strategy, driving innovation, and overseeing the successful implementation of AI programs. The ideal candidate will be deeply curious and passionate about the impact technology can have on business; have excellent organizational skills and be able to work masterfully cross-functionally to execute and deliver on initiatives.  

This role can be carried out from our Burlingame, CA headquarters; hybrid in the San Francisco Bay Area; or from the Los Angeles area.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development
  • Vision and Strategy: Define a comprehensive AI strategy that aligns with Lyra’s business objectives and long-term vision.
  • Identify Opportunities: Identify new and emerging opportunities that can drive competitive advantage and improve business processes, customer experiences, and operational efficiency.
  • Roadmap: Develop and maintain a strategic AI roadmap in close partnership with Data, Product, IT and Ops teams to ensure alignment with key business goals, and track progress against milestones 

  • Program Management & Execution:
  • Lead Program Portfolio: Oversee the management and execution of programs across multiple departments, ensuring successful delivery of initiatives on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across Lyra to ensure projects are well-integrated and deliver tangible business results.

  • Performance and Impact Measurement:
  • Track Program Success: Define and track performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of all initiatives, ensuring alignment with business outcomes.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data and analytics to assess program performance, refine strategies, and optimize the execution of projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in program management and leadership, including experience managing large-scale projects across multiple business functions.
  • Proven track record of driving the successful implementation of initiatives within an organization.
  • Experience with technologies such as LLM, ML, RAG and fine tuning.
  • Expertise in managing cross-functional teams and working to align initiatives with business goals.
  • Prior experience in managing or developing roadmaps and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
As a full-time Head of AI Programs, you will be employed by Lyra Health, Inc. The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $200,000 - $250,000. The base range is determined by role and level, and placement within the range will depend on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.

Annual salary is only one part of an employee’s total compensation package at Lyra. We also offer generous benefits that include:
