We are looking for contract psychiatrists who are passionate about whole-person, whole family mental health care and working within a connected network to provide patients with easily accessible, culturally responsive, high-quality mental health care.
As a contract psychiatrist, you’ll provide evidence-based treatment via live 60-minute video intake appointments and regular follow-up appointments. You'll conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management. Lyra makes it easy to refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services in tandem with your care.
You will provide care to individuals from a multitude of different backgrounds and experiences, as well as those with varying needs and abilities. Responsibilities:
- Clinical Assessment and Diagnostic Skills - Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, formulate accurate diagnoses, and create individualized treatment plans tailored to each developmental stage.
- Evidence-Based Treatment - Utilize proven therapeutic techniques and medication management strategies to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders, ensuring safe and appropriate interventions.
- Family-Centered Approach - Foster a collaborative treatment environment, educating families on mental health issues, involving them in care planning, and providing guidance on supportive measures at home.
- Virtual Care Delivery - Conduct virtual psychiatric sessions, ensuring a high-quality and supportive experience, and leverage technology to maintain regular communication with members and families.
- Collaborative Teamwork - Actively participate in team meetings, contribute to collaborative care planning, and provide consultative support to other team members for comprehensive member care.
- Data-Driven Practice and Documentation - Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, care plans, and progress notes. Use data analytics to assess outcomes and continuously improve care quality.
- Ethics and Compliance - Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards, engage in ongoing professional development, and commit to ethical, patient-centered care practices.
Requirements:
- Board-certified or -eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with an active license in at least one state
- Experience providing telehealth therapy services in a virtual environment (video and teletherapy) preferred but not required
- Computer and live video tools literacy (e.g., Zoom, Google Meets, DoxyMe, Skype, etc.)
- Demonstrated family engagement skills and experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults
- Commitment to and familiarity with JCAHO guidelines and competency in practicing within an accredited framework to ensure safety, quality, and compliance
