To provide onsite confidential counselling services to employees, addressing work-related stress, mental health and wellness, to be based onsite in Limpopo, South Africa.
This is a Fixed Term Contract until September 2027.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical services – counselling, risk and crisis intervention.
  • Workplace wellness and support – provide managerial guidance and support on employee mental health, performance issues and conflicts.
  • Collaboration – collaboration with the wellness team, external providers and other stakeholders.
  • Administrative and reporting responsibilities – keep and maintain records, report writing.
  • To be proficient in and adequately implement and adhere to specific policies and procedures i.e. substance abuse, occupational health, and incapacity management protocols and ensure that necessary feedback is provided to relevant parties where necessary.
  • Support CS in promoting the service and providing appropriate training when required.

Minimum Qualifications Required

  • BA (Honours) (BPsych) and registered with the HPCSA
  • MA (Clinical / Counselling Psychology) and registered with the HPCSA
  • BA (Social Work) and registered with the SACSSP
  • 3 or more years of clinical experience in different clinical settings.

Minimum Skillset Required

  • Must have knowledge of solution-focused brief therapy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care and crisis intervention
  • Knowledge of mental health diagnosis, assessment, and treatment
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Assertiveness
