Lyra is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a small and nimble engineering team. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented problem-solver with a track record of successful leadership.
Responsibilities
Be a hands-on technical leader for a small and nimble engineering team on designing, developing and deploying core product functionality
Manage, scale and develop the team.
Collaborate with key partners including product, data and behavioral health specialists.
Ensure that best practices are adhered to during all phases of software development and deployment.
Technical Leadership: Ability to guide a team in modern engineering practices, architecture decisions, and long-term platform evolution.
People Management: Skilled at developing, mentoring, and motivating engineers while fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
Execution & Delivery: Strong focus on outcomes, with a track record of delivering high-quality, secure, and scalable software.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Comfortable working across Product, Data, and Clinical teams to align technical work with business and user needs.
Strategic Thinking: Balances short-term execution with long-term technical vision to support Lyra’s growth.
Communication: Clear, concise, and empathetic communicator with diverse stakeholders.
Qualifications
7+ years overall experience including 1+ years management experience
Minimum Bachelor's degree in CS or a related technical field.
Experience developing enterprise or consumer web applications.
Excellent communication skills across a diverse range of audiences.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Strong bias to action.
Passionate about Lyra’s mission and transforming mental health.
Familiarity with AI tools and Technologies particularly Agentic development, while applying these technologies to healthcare, personalization, or workflow automation
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior startup experience
- Experience with SSO, Integrations & Partnerships.
As a full-time Engineering Manager, you will be employed by Lyra Health, Inc. The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $161,000 to $221,500. The base range is determined by role and level, and placement within the range will depend on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
Annual salary is only one part of an employee’s total compensation package at Lyra. We also offer generous benefits that include:
