About the Role
Lyra is committed to addressing urgent and costly mental health needs with specialized support where it’s needed most. Our Center of Excellence for Neurodiversity offers neuropsychological assessments, diagnosis, with tailored care for ADHD, and support for autism and learning differences. We are looking for a contract Psychometrist who is passionate about whole-person, whole-family mental health care.
This contract role is a great fit for testing specialists who enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, including the patient’s psychologist, therapist, and/or psychiatrist. Traits for success include: Results driven, detailed, process oriented, and comfortable with data. Candidates with an independent work ethic who are flexible and adaptable, we encourage you to apply.
What You’ll Do:
- Work with clients of all ages, as well as their families, by administering neuropsychological testing batteries under the supervision of a licensed doctoral provider
- Prepare test materials, administer and score tests, and record scores
- Conduct intake interviews to gather complete history
- Consult with supervising provider and support staff as needed for effective care coordination
- Comfortable completing virtual sessions, asynchronously or synchronously
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology or closely related field
- Minimum 1 year experience (2+ preferred) conducting neuropsychological or psychoeducational assessments, preferably in a virtual environment
- Experience with autism testing preferred
- Understands HIPAA compliant platforms (i.e., Q-Interactive)
- Strong tech fluency skills allowing for managing complex virtual testing logistics
- Hands on experience with the following and capable of delivering these tests virtually:
- CARS-2 (Childhood Autism Rating Scale-2nd Edition)
- RIAS-2 (Reynolds Intellectual Assessment Scales-2nd Edition)
- RAIT (Reynolds Adaptable Intelligence Test)
- CNS Vital Signs
- ADOS-2
