Lyra Clinical Associates P.C. partners with Lyra Health, the leading provider of mental health solutions for employers supporting more than 20 million people globally. The company has delivered 13 million sessions of mental health care, published more than 20 peer-reviewed studies, and delivered unmatched outcomes in terms of access, clinical effectiveness and cost efficiency. Lyra is transforming access to life-changing mental health care through Lyra Empower, the only fully integrated, AI-powered platform combining the highest-quality care and technology solutions. You will be employed by Lyra Clinical Associates P.C.
About the Role
Lyra developed an innovative video therapy program called Lyra Care Therapy: blending live video sessions with between-session digital psychoeducation and customizable skill building tools. This role is dedicated to our powerful program called Lyra Renew, specializing in substance use and mental health recovery, and combines the strengths and benefits of Lyra Care Therapy and Renew, providing you with the resources and support to ensure that your clients get better—all while improving access to mental health care from your home or preferred setting.
This role is a great fit if you're a PSYPACT authorized or PSYPACT eligible licensed clinician with experience in addiction treatment from a clinical setting, or have training in substance use treatment, who would like to join our interdisciplinary team providing specialized substance use support through individual outpatient teletherapy sessions. If you have experience with caseloads that include a comprehensive spectrum of mental health needs, from milder presentations to more complex and high acuity support, we encourage you to apply. If you would enjoy a dedicated caseload of clients with primary AUD/SUD treatment needs, then this role is for you!
Renew clients are part of our outpatient program working with Lyra therapists and physicians to develop individually-tailored treatment plans. Renew clients have peer recovery support through groups and 1:1 meetings to enhance their care.
An important note: Lyra's clients come from a multitude of different backgrounds and experiences, and have varying needs and abilities. We strive to continue to meet their unique needs by delivering culturally responsive care—an approach that accounts for the impact of cultural backgrounds on each person’s care experience.
In Renew, we recognize that words matter in the mission to overcome societal and healthcare stigma around alcohol and substance use. We intentionally use language and communication to destigmatize treatment and promote our clients’ overall well-being within their cultural context.
For clinicians, you always have a safety net of resources to help plan the best options if a crisis comes up—from specialty consultations to culturally responsive care—you’re not alone, even while working remotely within the US.
Daily: As a full-time Renew Therapist, your caseload will be dedicated to providing specialized outpatient substance use support, using short-term, evidence-based treatment via live video. You’ll assign digital lessons, videos, and assessments to your clients to enhance learnings and monitor outcomes between sessions.
Regularly: Our Renew therapists enjoy connecting with their peers. You’ll always have access to expert consultation and support for your most complex clients. You will find instant community with other providers from prior AUD/SUD training backgrounds (inpatient, outpatient, acute settings) who share a passion for providing evidence-based care. You’ll attend one-on-one and peer group clinical consultation meetings. You’ll attend a weekly Renew multidisciplinary team meeting, where you’ll have access to medical consultations with expert physicians. You’ll attend ongoing, robust trainings to enhance your clinical skills, including Renew workshops on AUD/SUD clinical topics led by physicians and clinical psychologists.Requirements
Unrestricted PsyD/PhD license in clinical or counseling psychology (i.e., able to work independently, without supervision from a licensed supervisor) without current, past, or pending disciplinary action
Eligible to obtain a PSYPACT authorization, with a preference for providers with current PSYPACT authorization
Experience and commitment to providing evidence-based treatments (e.g., MI, ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT) and clinical best practices (e.g., measurement based care, promoting skills practice)
Substance use treatment experience in settings such as Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient or Residential Rehabilitation and/or training in substance use treatment
Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises, as needed
Experience providing telehealth therapy services in a virtual environment (video and teletherapy) preferred
Computer and live video tools literacy (e.g., Zoom, Google Meets, DoxyMe, Skype, etc.)
Experience maintaining a full clinical caseload of adult clients/week (30 potential bookable calendar spots)
Ability to work full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
Full-time resident of the United States
