About the Role:
Lyra Health is looking for a Solutions Consultant to be a critical industry, technical and product expert to drive the pre-sales process.

Reporting to the Head of Solution Consulting, you will be responsible for translating Lyra’s comprehensive mental health solution into compelling, tailored value propositions for the largest and most complex prospective clients. You will be instrumental in executing sales strategies, delivering best-in-class demonstrations, and providing technical leadership to help the team achieve Lyra’s growth targets and close new business.

This role can be carried out from our Burlingame, CA headquarters, hybrid, or fully remote/virtually. Remote candidates must be physically located within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Consultative Pre-Sales & Discovery: Collaborate with Partnerships (Sales)  throughout the sales cycle, serving as the trusted technical and product advisor to prospective clients. Conduct deep technical discovery with benefits leaders to understand their specific needs and design a comprehensive Lyra solution.
  • Demonstration Excellence: Lead and deliver highly tailored, compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations that clearly articulate Lyra's unique value proposition and clinical model.
  • RFP & Proposal Contribution: Own the technical response section for RFPs and proposals, ensuring accuracy, strategic positioning, and a compelling narrative against competitors.
  • Technical Value Strategy: Support Partnerships (Sales) in refining and executing account strategies, ensuring the technical solution and value proposition align perfectly with the client’s business objectives and benefits infrastructure
  • Implementation Handoff: Ensure a seamless transition from sales to launch by accurately documenting all technical requirements and setting clear client expectations for the Implementation and Customer Success teams.
  • Product Liaison: Collect and synthesize market feedback, competitive intelligence, and client needs from the field and relay them to the Product/Engineering teams to influence Lyra’s product roadmap.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel  25% - 50% of time.
  • Sales Enablement Content: Collaborate with Sales Enablement and Marketing to refine and create high-impact sales tools, technical content, and demonstration scripts that clearly articulate Lyra's differentiators (e.g., clinical model, integration capabilities, HIPAA compliance).

Qualifications

  • Solution Consulting Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Solution Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Pre-Sales professional, ideally within the B2B SaaS, enterprise benefits, or healthcare technology sectors. Benefits consulting and/or clinical background preferred.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of independently owning the technical sales cycle and consistently contributing to the closure of complex enterprise deals.
  • Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the employer benefits landscape, particularly mental health, employee benefits, health plans, HR technology, benefits administration systems, and the technical and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA) of large employers.
  • Consultative Approach: Highly consultative and strategic, with the ability to move beyond feature/function demonstrations to design comprehensive solutions that meet a client's business objectives and technical constraints.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical and clinical concepts to diverse audiences, from benefits administrators to technical architects and C-suite executives.

As a full-time Solutions Consultant, you will be employed by Lyra Health, Inc. The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $138,159 to $168,861. The base salary is determined by role and level, and the base salary will depend on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for commission payments.
