Role Overview

Lyra is looking for a Provider Technology Lead within our international operations team, to contribute to and support the continuous improvement of Lyra’s technology platform around the world, in accordance with local user requirements and global service standards. The ideal candidate will have strong project management and execution skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively with product, engineering, and operations teams.

Remote: The role is fully remote to be based in South Africa
Hours: 8am to 5pm. The role is a permanent five (5) day a week role (Monday to Friday).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to defining provider success objectives to be addressed by Lyra’s provider technology suite

  • Support the business case assessment on priorities with the greatest positive impact to Lyra’s members, balancing operational needs with engineering requirements, to ultimately inform Lyra’s international technology roadmap in partnership with the Technology team

  • Project-manage the operational implementation of new features, from inception to final delivery

  • Lead the roll-out of new technologies, especially the design and roll-out of and final user testing 

  • Track the effectiveness of new technology implementation using user surveys and other tools

  • Ensure that technologies already scoped are also implemented correctly around the world, identifying, troubleshooting and resolving any concerns

  • Establish effective and efficient collaboration processes with cross functional partners from product, engineering and provider operations to sustain uninterrupted alignment

  • Foster innovation by remaining sensitive to external and internal inputs on how existing technologies can be improved, or new technologies implemented

  • Help maintain and enhance the positive experience that providers have with the Lyra technology suite around the world

  • Gather requirements for new features and systems from operational teams, working in partnership with the international technology team.

Qualifications:

  • Comfort with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities

  • Self-starter capable of operating with minimal direction

  • Familiarity with software development processes including agile methodologies and user centred design principles is desirable but not essential

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required 

Experience

  • 8+ years of work experience with a background in technology implementation within the health care space (exposure to working with providers directly is a plus)  

  • Track record of leading projects or initiatives, driving efficiency, and contributing to growth. 

  • Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to work successfully and collaboratively on cross-functional technical teams.
