Role Overview: 
To achieve sales targets as part of the National Business Development Team by successfully implementing the Lyra Wellbeing programme across multiple sectors. This will be done by ensuring that the sales offering is presented in a manner consistent with the company’s mission, position in the market place, developed sales cycle and to high standards of quality and professionalism.
Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday 
Hybrid Work: Candidates will be expected to work in a hybrid environment with regular attendance at the office.
Flexibility: While this is a full time Monday to Friday,  standard business hours position, the nature of the work requires a degree of flexibility. The individual should be prepared to occasionally support meetings outside of standard working hours, given the global scope of the team.
Wi-Fi:While working off-site/remotely, the individual is expected to have reliable backup power supply and a strong, stable Wi-Fi connection as these are essential requirements for effectively performing in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet 100% of sales targets as allocated

  • Acquire new EAP/EWP and integrated solutions services both through cold calling and warm leads allocated.

  • Build and maintain a healthy Sales Pipeline that will drive a conversion rate of no less than industry related conversation rate.

  • Generate new cold call sales leads per month

  • Maintain a daily diary that is booked to at least 50% capacity with client facing meetings aligning to the Lyra Sales cycle

  • Populate high quality proposal documents for clients

  • Deliver high quality presentations for clients

  • Demonstrate Lyra Digital Eco system to clients, Call Centre capabilities and Managerial

  • Referral process

  • Keep abreast of all developments in terms of EAP/EWP and Lyra related fields and

  • offerings

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with potential clients

  • Attend customer and company meetings as required

  • Co-ordinate and support the sales handover process as per the agreed process flow

  • Ensure Salesforce and Pipeline is updated daily with all new leads, opportunities, pipeline entries and conversions

  • Identify and attend high impact networking opportunities

  • Research and understand related competitors and provide feedback as set out in the performance review document

  • To carry out any other relevant work related duties as required by Lyra SA

Minimum level of experience required (including any industry-specific experience)

  • Has at least 3+ years sales experience with a proven track record

  • Has a conceptual understanding of business missions, supplier promise and strategy, as well as the performance implications of this strategy with regard to market success

  • Has financial acumen- Understands and is able to interpret financial data relevant to the business

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and experience to understand and engage with business

  • Co-ordinate and support the sales handover process as per the agreed process flow

  • Ensure Salesforce and Pipeline is updated daily with all new leads, opportunities, pipeline entries and conversions

Minimum level of experience required (including any industry-specific experience)

  • Has at least 3+ years sales experience with a proven track record

  • Has a conceptual understanding of business missions, supplier promise and strategy, as well as the performance implications of this strategy with regard to market success

  • Has financial acumen- Understands and is able to interpret financial data relevant to the business

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and experience to understand and engage with business
