Role Overview
Remote Work: The individual is expected to have reliable backup power supply and a strong, stable WiFi connection as these are essential requirements for effectively performing in a remote capacity
Working hours: Mon-Fri 9.30am to 6.30pm SAST

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.

  • Assist in the configuration and customization of Salesforce applications, including workflows, validation rules, and process builders.

  • Participate in the design and development of integrations between Salesforce and external systems.

  • Learn and apply best practices for Salesforce development, including security, performance, and scalability.

  • Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications/Technical Skills:

  • 0-2 years of experience with Salesforce development or a strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.

  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I) are a plus.

Certifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
