Lyra is recruiting a Senior HR Business Partner role to assist Lyra International. Reporting to the
Group People Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s period of growth and change and be a role model for the expected behaviours and attitudes.
This role is fully remote and based in the UK, supporting several international countries and regions such as UK, MENA, Canada & Spain.
Key Responsibilities
- Becoming the point of contact for all integrations related activities and working with the People Team to disseminate information and ensure due diligence is timely and issues raised and escalated where needed.
- Supporting integrations by building trusted relationships with all stakeholders and utilising the relationships to drive forward HR projects.
- With support from the management team, assist in the implementation of the People strategy, through various initiatives.
- To develop, where needed, in a full range of people-centric activities including policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, absence management, recruitment, retention, performance management, employee relations, employee reward, learning and development, health and welfare and compliance requirements.
- To head cases of dispute, disorder, discipline, performance and grievances in a timely manner with the support of the Employee Relations team in accordance with company values, team values while being local governmental guidance abiding.
- Lead talent development initiatives, succession planning, and leadership coaching to identify and nurture high performing employees
- To build and maintain close and effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation and subsidiaries, including the ability to support the communication of complex, sensitive and contentious information.
- To provide up to date information for the purposes of payroll to ensure all information and payments are correct
- To handle controlled data, always ensuring security in line with company policies and accreditations and keeping Workday updated, considering it as the principal source of information.
- To ensure the sharing of accurate and timely information within the team.
- To support, where needed, the preparation and maintenance of online and hard copy personnel files in line with changes, and to ensure new employees have all HR documentation required, ensuring adherence to company policy and legislation.
- Responsible for providing timely and accurate reporting of data to Payroll, HR shared documents, In house trackers and 3rd party benefit schemes where necessary.
- To manage the administration of benefits (Private medical, insurances, pension, etc) for all the employees, working directly with the Compensation and Benefits department to ensure all the employees are covered.
- Collaborate with the compensation team to ensure competitive salary structures, manage benefits retention programs, and advise on compensation decisions.
- To provide support and lead (where appropriate) various projects and events throughout the year to support the People Strategy.
- To support the Global People Manager with the implementation and upkeep of HR strategies and policies.
- Facilitate change management initiatives, design and implement organisational development programs to improve team effectiveness and engagement.
- To ensure adherence to local employment legislation in a multitude of countries by building relationships locally and seeking guidance from our employment counsel when appropriate.
- To maintain the visa sponsorship process to secure all the employees held the right to work and to ensure the company is in compliance.
- To cover the inductions and training to all the employees in the different initiatives and maintaining the platform with all the records.
- Support the Senior Leadership team for the strategic workforce planning providing guidance on HC based on the budget process.
- Support the different engagement and team building initiatives like employee survey, culturebot applications, on site visits, etc.
- Maintain all the qualifications and certifications of all the employees in workday to make sure we are on top of the development of the employees.
Experience
- Postgraduate, Master or MBA in Human Resources is desirable.
- Degree in Business Management or HR related is mandatory
- CIPD Level 5-7 completed
- Minimum of 5 years working in a similar senior role with a complex business or 10-12 years in HR.
- Must have excellent IT literacy skills, particularly in the google stack.
- Practical experience of EU employee legislation is vital, especially UK employment regulations.
- Previous experience of HR systems – Workday, Sage and Deel are advantageous but not essential.
- Fluent in additional language German, French, Italian,Dutch, Hungarian, Spanish is desirable
- Project Management skills, expert in organisational and prioritization in changing environments
